Summary of this Book...
This story starts where the last left off, with Roland of Gilead, Eddie Dean of New York, and Susannah Dean of New York (also know as Odetta Walker) as they continue on their journey for the Dark Tower. Roland is slowly losing his sanity, due to a paradox that occurs as a result of the happenings in the last door on the beach. Eddie and Susannah are able to retain Roland's sanity and they continue their journey with an additional two members to their party. Their journey takes them to a town called Lud, which has since been ruined and is under the control of the "Greys" and the "Pubes". At this point, the party meets up with Blaine the Monorail and attempts to talk him into taking them across the Waste Lands in order to continue their journey toward the Dark Tower.
