Throughout the book, the author teaches both the mother-to-be and her coach how to utilize breathing techniques and deep relaxation techniques in order to work with the laboring mother's body to have a more pain-free delivery.

This book explained many more things than just labor and delivery, including how the female reproductive organs work. It also answers many questions about common practices in hospital childbirths and gives the parents empowerment to know which questions to ask and dispells many myths and untruths about what has become a commonplace in today's society.

I felt happy to know that natural childbirth can be simplified and that it's possible to work with your body to delilver my child.

The author does a very good job explaining everything as in depth as possible, and referring to more in-depth resources when she is not able to provide enough information.
