Summary of this DVD... | ||
An almost forgotten & very cool little movie.

This film is a somewhat low budget story about suburban teens running amok, set in 1979-80(?). I was a teenager right around that time as well, and the Jr. high school in this film was almost identical to mine, right down to the idealistic young teacher who cares, and the horrid "cafetorium" w/ the bizzare 70's style murals. Even now, i find this to be an almost harrowingly accurate portrayal of the suburban teen "underground" scene of that time. Sure, it's a bit dated & corny in spots, but the riot scene is just great. This film also depicts guns and gun violence as having the horrible consequences they always do just as in real life, which deserves some kind of mention.
