Summary of this DVD... | ||
The 10th film in the Star Trek feature film family. By far the worst! I am a huge STNG fan and was hoping with the debacle of "Insurrection" that the writers at Star Trek would've woken up and written a story worthy of the Roddenberry vision. It did not happen. The plot was transparent- plot twists and turns could be discerned within the first 10 minutes. The "banter" of the crew was predictable and Data's quest for his humanity remains a poor joke. I can only hope that Paramount allows the STNG crew a quiet retirement- don't abuse me again!
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Actually, I've never opened the DVD. I couldn't subject myself to a repeat after suffering through the theatre presentation. It sits quietly on the shelf in its shrink wrap.
Further Comments... | ||
I understand the need to view all Star Trek material, if you are a Trekkie. Just be warned, if you have been disappointed since Rick Berman took over the franchise- don't expect anything new out of "Nemesis". I am hoping that the people at Paramount give up shortly and give us another break- new ideas and writers are needed to salvage the Star Trek vision.
