Summary of this Book...
This is the first novel in a trilogy about the Christ Clone. Journalist Decker Hawthorne becomes involved in a project concerning the Shroud of Turin, said to be the burial clothing of Jesus Christ. They find live cells on the Shroud. Years later, Decker discovers that one of the scientists involved in the programme did the unthinkable: he cloned some of the living cells to make a child, who he named Christopher. Is this child the Messiah reborn? Who is he really - and of what importance is he to the world?

I especially liked... | ||
The description in this book is vivid, the writing style is something you easily slip into, like a pair of old boots. It's only at the end of each chapter that you realise you are reading a book; you get carried away and forget everything around you. The plot is original and captivating. At every turn you are amazed, even if you thought that was no longer possible. The book presents a wonderfully strange world, with a wonderfully strange future...
I didn't like... | ||
The only thing wrong with this book as far as I could tell, is that it is part of a trilogy - which means the story isn't finished when the book is.
