Summary of this Book...
A hilarious compilation of essays from San Fernando Valley dweller, Sandra Tsing Loh. After living her entire life in the Los Angeles area, this woman has the perfectly skewed perspective it takes to maintain sanity in a land like no other.
This type of Book is good for...
Seriously good laughing! Many people can appreciate the humor in her writing - but if you live in Los Angeles, particularly in the Valley, you will not believe how she has perfectly grasped the residents' foibles and lifestyles.
I especially liked... | ||
Being able to relate so well to experiences she's had while living in L.A. Reading this book was like listening to a really witty and observant friend.
I didn't like... | ||
That it ended....But what some readers may not like is that in her bitterly honest and candid way - she can get very raunchy. It May offend some!
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Call her up and talk. Hey! she'd be a fun friend.
This Book made me feel...
Inspired to write. I enjoyed reading her essays so much, I would love to be 1/100th as entertaining for others.

Sandra Tsing Loh is one of my favorite essayists and local Los Angeles writers.
I recommend this Book because...
It's just hilarious, and gives a real insider view of the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley area.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It may offend some when her writing gets raunchy.
