The way the narrator was very brave and capable of breaking the circle of his family's abuse history

How often he was teased or picked on or even put in different homes in a very short time.

Read A Man Named Dave by the same author but a little farther into his live after foster care and i did it was very touching too.

sad for all the children who are abused around the world. I also felt good that some people learn they have to break the chain

Is very descriptive and understanding because he wrote it himself and had gone through the hardships

There aren't many people who see abusive families and they should understand how awful it is

It is heartbreaking sad
