Summary of this CDs & Vinyl...
This is the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to this summer's blockbuster movie Pirates of the Caribbean which was loosely based of the Disney theme park ride of the same name.
This type of CDs & Vinyl is good for...
those who liked/loved the movie and its music. In fact, some people I know who didn't really like the movie (yes, these people exist ), and they still adore the soundtrack.
I especially liked... | ||
Tracks 2-4, 7, 15 & 16. And unlike some soundtracks, where only a few songs are likeable, all of these songs are awesome.
I didn't like... | ||
how the track names were a bit confusing. They made it harder to figure out which part of the movie happened where, although with some it was quite obvious.
This CDs & Vinyl made me feel...
like dancing. Its very movement-oriented. I dare you not to at least tap your foot.
The n/a of this CDs & Vinyl...
is Klaus Badelt. He's an accomplished, if not well-known, composer who worked on films such as Gladiator staring Russell Crowe, and K-19: The Widowmaker which stars Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson. This is his most recent film composition which will be followed shortly with his songs featured in Timeline starring Ben Affleck.
I recommend this CDs & Vinyl because...
its beautiful and very fitting to the film's plot and movement. Unlike soundtracks that only feature slow, flowing, still pieces, Badelt delivers action, adventure, and perpetual movement--even in his slower moments.
Further Comments... | ||
This is definitely one of the best Soundtracks I own. Bottom line: This music is worth a listen, with or without the movie itself.
