Summary of this Book...
This book starts with a facinating look at how people act, and why. It continues from what the author discovers about how we act, to what it might mean, and how it can include God. It then goes into what Christians in general believe, and what a christian should do, ending with a little bit of theology on the trinity.
This type of Book is good for...
Understanding the basis of Christianity, what a Christain should be/ do in the most general terms. Part of the beauty of this book is that it tries to explain the basic agreed on parts of Christianity. It doesn't go into the different beliefs of just one type of Christian.
I didn't like... | ||
I realized that I would have to read slowly and think about what the author was saying. I had to consider a lot of what he said... not that that is bad, but the way it made the book slow to read was something I didn't like.
The author of this Book...
I kept thinking that the author of this book was smart... I found all the logic, and how thought out it was, amazing.
I recommend this Book because...
I think it gives you a good look at what Christianity should be, and how Christianity works. Its basic enough that if you just wanted to know about Christianity in general, this book meets that desire.
I don't recommend this Book because...
This book has useful, good information if you want to learn the basis of Christianity. But it will only be usfull on application if you choose to make it useful. I am just saying that if you don't want to believe in Christianity, or aren't intested in learning about how it works, this is not a book you probably want to read.
