Once I began reading this book, I absolutely could NOT put it down. It gives hind-sight into the French Revolution and the Fallen Angels yet in a wonderful working novel. This is one book that kept me captivated from the first page to its climatic, and it's surprising end. I have over the years read it many, many times. Susannah Kells leaves nothing to the imagination with her vivid, rather gruesome account of the attrocities of the French Revolution... not to mention edge-of-your-seat intrigue and romance. The ending alone is worth reading all the way through.

To keep in your home library because you will read it over and over again. You will amaze yourself at how many times you will recomend this EXCELLENT book!!

You will not want to put this book down, in fact you will find yourself upset at having to do your daily routine because the book is interesting enough to keep reading on and on and on....even when you come to the end, you'll want to start it over!

An absolute MUST buy...in fact I NEED another one, preferrably hard-cover because I mistakenly lent it out to a friend, and I haven't seen the book or them sense...I sure miss the book...*snif*snif*
