The last Cynster is about to meet his fate. Simon, the twins brother, has fallen for Portia Ashford, the sister of Simon's brother in-law. Got it? There's plenty of steamy graphic love scenes- typical of the Bar Cynster novels- and a mystery to be solved. However, don't think for a minute the mystery holds the story up- it's all about the romance and the sex.

Laurens is great at creating believable characters. The women are beautiful and smart, the men handsome and sensitive. What more could you want in a Romance?

For fans, Lady Osbaldstone plays a larger role in this novel. I enjoy her character greatly.

Stephanie Laurens is very reliable in creating entertaining romances. Her traditional Regency romances are much more tame (sex-wise) but still enjoyable.
