In my eyes this book is a precious little metaphor. This tree watches the little boy grow and gives him everything he could ever ask for until there was nothing left to give...or so they thought.

anyone at any age...really!

The entire story was excellent from the very beginning to the end...this is a must read.

I just simply wanted to cry. This book is more precious in ways you could never understand until you read it.

I purchased the book for my youngest son's 13th birthday as an extra present and he LOVED it...in a sense, it brought us closer together. He will soon turn 20 years old and keeps it in a special box until he can one day share it with a child of his own.

This book can do so many things and it's not just for the little ones...the older ones love it too...enjoy
