Summary of this Book...
The father of an odd young boy decides it is best for both of them if the offspring is sent to look for a job. So Mortimer, called Mort, is taken on by the famous character of Death, portrayed as a skeleton in a sweeping black cloak. Mort soon finds out that working for Death had alot more troubles than he first thought.
This type of Book is good for...
People who enjoy the science fantasy books, of which Terry Pratchett is considered a legend by me.
I especially liked...
The humour, and the setting of Death's Domain. It was very descriptive, and some cases very hilarious.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Well, I found myself wishing Death was a person (well skeleton) and that everyone could meet him.
This Book made me feel...
Like it would be great to live in a world were all the magical things could happen. I reckon it would make the place more interesting.
The author of this Book...
Terry Pratchett has alot of other fabulous books, based on the Discworld. Some of them contain characters in previos books, and some have completely new characters, but each book written is superb.
I recommend this Book because...
It is extremely interesting, and I found that I couldn't put it down.
Further Comments...
The good thing about these books, is that (if you're going through them one by one like me, and Mort is only the 4th) you know there's always going to be one similar to Mort waiting for you. Terry Pratchett's Discworld series contains (I think) roughly 25 books.
