Summary of this Book...
Elizabeth has been married for many years now and the spark is gone. Her husband Roger spends all his time at work, and when he comes home he either plops down in front of the t.v. or falls asleep immediately. He doesn't care about his appearance, he doesn't listen, he isn't attentive, he's messy... etc. etc. Elizabeth discovers a "doctor" that can cure the problem with a magical herb called the "stud stimulant." She slips it into her husbands orange juice one morning and sure enough, in a few weeks he's as frisky as a puppy and more attentive then when they first met. But as time goes on the stud stimulant turns him into an ego-maniac and a man she doesn't even recognize. All the attributes she longed for in him are taken to the extreme and it isn't long before Elizabeth is desperate to get the old Roger back!
I especially liked... | ||
-How it made me laugh out loud. -The message behind it. -How Elizabeth was eventually forced to face her own imperfections.
I didn't like... | ||
Some parts were over-obvious. Knowing what was going to happen before it happened.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Slap myself and be more thankful for having such a great husband. Flaws and all!
This Book made me feel...
Happy! | ||
I recommend this Book because...
I think all women could relate to it and would thoroughly enjoy it, AND after reading it would appreciate their husband/partner even more. It's a quick read.
