Summary of this Book...
Vampires. Its also a story of a small town, and small town friendships. Its scary, full of suspence, and a generous dash of horror. 'Salem's Lot (Short for Jerusalem's Lot) is a great setting wonderfully set in the middle of Stephen King's Maine.
I especially liked... | ||
The use of clever plot twists (I didn't figure out the book was a vampire story until about 100 pages through), the use of Stoker (There were many Dracula-esque plot items that you don't figure out for a while), the role and power of the Church, and the use of vampire myths and studies.
I didn't like... | ||
Father Callahan's fate (Poor guy)...
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read some more Stephen King. His particular writing style is, to me, a lot easier to get into than other authors. I can usually get through any of his books in 2-3 days of frantic reading.

I recommend this Book because...
I like the author's style, I like the plot, and I like the ending.
I don't recommend this Book because...
What's not to recommend? Small children may be scared, and the light of heart. Other than that... Izz very good.
