Summary of this Book... | ||
What you're really eating! It goes deeply into some the dirty little secrets of the meat industry, and exposes some of the lies that they tell us. But its all done in a polite way, and you can tell the author really tries to point out all arguements and represent all sides. Just read the story about the pig farmer (around page 50)! It also gives some alternatives, and shows you some of the ways you can change your diet to live a longer and healthier life. Very good resource for reports, and written in an easy to understand and comprehend manner. | ||

How he's got all the cold hard facts, but they're put in easy to read ways, and how he'll put in his own stories and personal experiences. Also he's not just like "meat is bad! Be a vegatarian or you're a bad person!" You can tell he feels strongly, but tries to present everything in a fair way. | ||

Well just don't read it while you're eating...or right after...its extremly graphic at parts! | ||

Very passionatly toward helping the animals and if I wans't all ready a vegatarian, I would have been when I finished this! | ||

Oh he's a wonderful writer! Really draws you in, and pulls on your emotions, one second you'll be crying, the next fuming! He's also written Diet for a New America. | ||
I recommend this Book because... | ||
Its a cery good book if you want to change your life/ be a vegatarian...lots of motivation...one of the facts that struck me hardest was this...“-Federal standards require that 100 percent of cows be fully stunned before they are skinned, but (according to)…a McDonald’s training video…it’s acceptable if five cows in every 100 are conscious while skinned and dismembered.” . (The Food Revolution, pg. 177). After I heard that, I vowed never to buy anything from McMurder again. | ||

It will definatly change your life...not for hunters, meat farmers, or fast food junkies! | ||

Very good, I highly recommend this griping book! Please, if you like it, recommend it to friends and people you know, so that we can all work together to have a better, healthier lifestyle and planet for ages to come! | ||
