Summary of this Book...
A man named Phillipe who flees from Europe to America in order to begin a new life. There he is caught up in the vor-story of the american revolution and finds love.
I especially liked... | ||
how the author brings the past to life. He takes actuall events that had taken place and weaves them into the story in order to bring it alive.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read the rest of the series and watch a movie set during the American Revolution.
This Book made me feel...
Unimportant somehow. Knowing what all those famous men did to make my country what it now is is awe inspiring.
The author of this Book...
really knows how to set one into his book and make you feel as though you were Phillip himself.
I recommend this Book because...
It is good, old but good. My grandmother read it when she was young. I got lucky and got the whole series from my great grandmother who had also enjoyed reading it.
