Splicing together elements of TV reality shows and Sliver with Sharon Stone this novel follows 12 contestants on a island as they square off to solve clues and face their worst fears as the TV audience votes and decides wich one of the members gets exiled off the island.



When the cameras start rolling on the premiere, the host and crew all collapse and die an agonizing death from an Ebola-like virus. A voice comes over the loudspeaker and announces that "Control" has taken over the game, and that each contestant has been infected with the same virus and must receive an automated daily serum injection at noon to stay alive. The exiled player gets no serum and dies the same horrible death.



At the same time the contestants have to figure which one of them is helping CONTROL and why.



The network bigwigs decide to pull the show off the air, but can't knock out the Internet broadcasts.



Who is Control, and what are his or her motives? Will anyone leave the island alive without infecting the rest of the planet? Read on and find out.

How fast paced and realistic it was, and it would work GREAT as a movie.

How it jumped between the island and a cop over here on the mainland and back. BUT!!! It does come together near the ending so it is acceptable

Tell all my friends. In fact I gave it to my wife and she read it all in one day. (and she is not one to usually do this.)

Very thankful that we have not yet come to this in reality television.

Jim Brown is a author to keep an eye on in the future. I think that he could be big.

If you like Action and adventure, The Survivor and Big Brother TV shows then you will eat this book up. It takes the TV shows to a logical yet deadly step.
