Summary of this Book...
Sheriff Joanna Brady is the only female sheriff in Arizona. Her father was a sheriff, and her late husband was a deputy, so she knows the law. Her daughter goes on a girl-scout campout, and finds the body of a dead woman. Two murders later, Joanna is still at a loss as to who the killer is. Are they all connected? Is the killer still at large? Will her daughter be the next target?
I didn't like... | ||
all of the extraneous information. Details of exactly what the characters did, timeline fashion. The carjackers had nothing to do with the story, except to throw the reader off a bit.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
toss it. | ||
This Book made me feel...
like I wasted my time. | ||
The author of this Book...
is admirable for putting out so many books in this series. I couldn't write a whole novel, but I do think that she could have done it better. Too much filler, not enough story.
I recommend this Book because...
it's the newest book in the Joanna Brady series... if you read those.
I don't recommend this Book because...
it doesn't make the reader think, everything is too obvious.
Further Comments... | ||
After reading this book, I realized that it is the newest edition of a series. Keeping that in mind, this book may not have been as bad as I thought, if I had read the previous books in the series. With any series, a reader just can't get the full perspective if they don't start from the beginning. The author is an expert of making "much ado about nothing."
