Summary of this Book...
"I Am the Cheese" is the first Robert Cormier book I ever read, and from the first chapter, I was hooked. I love this book, it's one of my all-time favorites, despite how sad and neurotic it is. "I Am the Cheese" is about a boy named Adam Farmer which begins with the main character on a journey to find his father by bicycling from Monument, Massachusetts, to Rutterburg, Vermont. Along the way, the reader discovers horrible fragments of the shy and confused boy's past that he must remember: government corruption, a missing father, espionage. This story isn't just about the boy's trip to Vermont, but a trip through his life. It has a powerful ending, and you never really understand everything until the end. It's a quite a surprise, so don't peek!
