Summary of this Book...
One of the Legandary Heralds of Valdemar, Lavan Firestorm. It chronciles him, his Compainion, and his unique and deadly gift, of firestarting, from a lonely boy at the Merchants School, to the making of his legend, in the war against Karse.
I especially liked... | ||
Her wonderful descriptions, the Companions, and the great writting style.
I didn't like... | ||
I cried. That's ALL I'm saying.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read the rest of the Heralds of Valdemar series. Yay, I'm not even close to 1/2 way done! Score!
This Book made me feel...
Sad, in awe, amazed. | ||
The author of this Book...
Has written about 20 more in the Valdemar series, and many more outside of that. Staring from her 1st book, and series, Arrows of the Queen, in 1985, she's stilling going strong.
I recommend this Book because...
It's wonderfully done, and for the Valdemarian fan, gives details and insites about the country and the Heralds, etc, from about 300 years before Talia's time.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It's very intense, and sad in some parts.
Further Comments... | ||
Very good book, read it!
