Summary of this Book...
Kate quickly falls in love with a man she just met, and marries within three months. Russell is loving and caring, until his sister shows up. She convinces him to move back to the family estate, Wrightsbridge. Kate is ecstatic with the prospect of meeting Russells family, so she eagerly goes. Kate is intrigued with the house until she sees her first ghost. She is accustomed to having a "gift" for seeing ghosts, but this is her first at Wrightsbridge. She feels the evil presence in the house, and how much it hates her. She must convince the ghosts to move on.
I especially liked... | ||
the time lapses. It's a good theory that ghosts can make you lose hours of time, without you feeling a thing.
I didn't like... | ||
How obvious the ending became, well before it was over.
The author of this Book...
started out very well. It's a fast read, and intriguing. I give the ending a B- because it could have been better, but it could have been a lot worse.
I recommend this Book because...
it's a fast read; it kept me in its clutches until the very end.
Further Comments... | ||
A few slip-ups on the author's part gave the whole story away. :( How did she heal so quickly? Was she ever hurt? What happened to the rest of the ghosts, that didn't move on? Was she possessed like the rest of them, at the end, wanting to stay?
