A sensible princess who hates being proper, and runs away to be a dragons princess. Once again, if I say much more, Ill give away the plot.

There's quite a bit of humor, most of it's satire. Also there's alot of action and the chacaters are vivid and lively.

If you have a back-ground in faerie tales, and tales like "The Sword in the Stone", "jack and the beanstock" all the old princess stories, then you will get the satire and probably apprecite the book.

Read it! You'll like it! Its something adults and kids can both read and enjoy. My mom read the series to me when I was about 8-10? somewhere around there, and we both got so much out of it and loved it! I know everyone from 50 year olds to 10 year olds who love these books!
