Bits and pieces of many of Lewis' other book that refer to faith have been put into this book. References to the other books are given.

how Lewis knows exactly how to word things. He makes everything sounds like honey or nectar.

thank God for the faith that He has given me and the kind of heart and spirit he has allowed me to have.

closer to God. It is exactly what I needed to hear when I read it.

Clive Staples Lewis. He was one of the most popular Christian writers of the twentieth century and my personal favorite.

This book is very inspirational, but unless you take the time to think, it won't catch you.

Unless you take the time to actually think about what you are reading, rather than just reading the words on the page, you are not going to enjoy it as much.
