Summary of this Book...
how everyone and everything in the universe is connected. One small good deed can turn into a heroic action, while one cruel intention can turn into all-out war. We are all connected, in one way or another. This book tells a story of a man looking to fill an inner void, only thinking he has found it in murder. One detective knows the truth, and it takes the whole story for him to finally give the murderer his justice.
I especially liked... | ||
the spontanaeity of some of the events. Everything is going along nice and serene, then BAM something happens. Keeps a person interested.
I didn't like... | ||
the ending. I won't spoil it for future readers, but I feel the author could have done much better.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
throw it across the room, LOL. The ending made me that mad! :)
This Book made me feel...
wonderous at the aptitude of all children. They are all geniuses, in their own way.
The author of this Book...
started out writing this very well. Lots of detail, it seemed like a lot of work was put into it. Towards the end though, it seems like everything was just slapped together, not worthy of the strong foundation it was built on. I really feel that the author was grasping at straws when he wrote the ending.
I recommend this Book because...
its a good story, just beware of the end.
I don't recommend this Book because...
it was my first Koontz book, and I'm sorry, he just doesn't compare to Stephen King. The horror and suspense was there, but not enough description.
