Summary of this Book...
Hannibal Lecter's first appearance! Yes, our favorite genius cannibal strikes for the first time in this awesome book, “Red Dragon.”

The book stars Francis Dolarhyde, a psychotic killer whose introduction the book is VERY gripping, and interesting. Also the book stars Will Graham, a forensic investigator who was responsible for Hannibal Lecter’s capture.

The book introduces most of the characters seen in The Silence of the Lambs, excepting Clarice Starling who is not mentioned in Red Dragon.

The book will shock you, hold you, and this is a book I actually wasn’t able to put down! But then again, I’m a Hannibal freak!

I especially liked...
Learning about Francis Dolarhyde and how he came to be. It’s very interesting and exciting to follow his depressing childhood, and learn how he came to be The Red Dragon.
I didn't like...
The fact that Hannibal was rarely in the book. He was only a supporting character, and I bought the book hoping to read about his past a bit more, and although it did talk about him in a flashback of Will Graham’s sessions, I would have liked to hear about him more often. Despite the lack of his appearances, the book is still really good.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Keep reading it!! I still sometimes wish I hadn’t finished it, so I could continue to savor it! I also now want to read The Silence of the Lambs, even though I seen the movie several times, I’m sure the book is 10 times better!!
This Book made me feel...
Excited, disturbed…I just wanted to keep reading.
The author of this Book...
Thomas Harris. Author of "Black Sunday" "The Silence of the Lambs" and "Hannibal"

And "Red Dragon" of course.
I recommend this Book because...
It's just really good! Well written, gripping, and as I said before, exciting! Very exciting!
I don't recommend this Book because...
Well, I wouldn’t recommend it if you didn’t like serial killings, and were too easily frightened. Also, it has a lot of violence in it. Some can't see through the violence and see the element of art in it.
Further Comments...
Make sure you read this book, and then see the movie. Both are excellent...
