The Bookshop on the Corner is a sweet romantic novel, involving a young woman's search for love, her love of books, and her desire to bring books to a community that had no library and no other book store. This book is about acceptance, friendship and changing lives using books and stories.

It was delightful to see a community come together because of Nina's bookshop and the books she provided and the beautiful way they thanked her.

Sometimes Nina was irritating with her whining, negative conversations. But I had to remind myself that she was insecure, so unsure of herself, making her question every decision before her. She was fortunate to have good friends.

I enjoyed reading this book; it made me laugh at times, made me feel sad and made me cheer.

It's a quick read. It's light-hearted and sweet. It's a feel good book about friendship and community.
