This is a "sweet" (meaning no graphic intimate scenes) Christian romance between Sheryl, a woman with deep wounds from her past, and Mark, a man who has been rejected harshly by the last woman he loved. The conflict is mostly internal and mostly between Sheryl, her stepfather and her stepbrother.

People who like a lot of introspection in their romance reading.

Sheryl's sister in law, nieces, Mark and his family.

I needed Sheryl to be braver. I know she had to grow for the story to work but it was just too drawn out. I would have enjoyed the book more as a novella, I think.

Read a more exciting book.

Glad for Sheryl and Mark in the end. It is nice to have the expected happily ever after type ending.

It's overly wordy and hard to get through at times.
