Summary of this Book...
This is the story of a TV newswoman, one who is in the mold of Diane Sawyer - glamorous and successful and very young looking. She has a blind daughter and gets more involved with caring for her when the daughter's minder dies. A younger man comes to help out and they fall in love with each other, after a difficult beginning and the age difference to cope with.

This type of Book is good for...
anyone who enjoys a good story where you come to care about the characters.
I recommend this Book because...
The genius of Danielle Steel is that she gets you to care about what happens to her characters. I get beyond the fact that everyone is impeccably dressed and all that.

She actually has a very amusing and spot-on incident with dealing with airlines that is quite a zinger. I enjoyed that and this whole book.

I was reading three books and this is the one I wanted to finish first to see what happened to the characters. So, if you ask me why she's a favorite author of mine (and she most definitely is) it is because she gets me to care about what happens. In most books I read these days, that doesn't happen much.
Further Comments...
I know this doesn't appeal to literary snobs, but I'm more interested in what gets people reading and what sells books. Ms. Steel definitely has a gift for storytelling that puts her way ahead of most of the pack.

This was a good story and I cared about the characters.
