Summary of this DVD... | ||
This is a DVD that we got from Netflix mailing thing. We have a rule on movies we get - if we don't like it after a half hour, we don't watch it. We watched this one. It is the story of this sports agent J.B. Bernstein who has a failing business. He has the idea to recruit baseball pitchers from cricket players in India, thus giving the players immediate fans in the country who will support their guys. India has a billion or so people. He recruits these two nice Indian kids, Rancur and Dinesh and takes them to the U.S. and has a coach teach them to pitch baseball. Jon Hamm is J.B. Bernstein. It is a true and heartwarming story about two Indian kids who end up playing baseball for Pittsburgh.
This type of DVD is good for...
anyone who enjoys a funny, heartwarming story.
I especially liked... | ||
Jon Hamm. He was better than he usually is in Mad Men. I am not really a fan of his, although I do enjoy that show.
I recommend this DVD because...
it is a heartwarming, Disney film. It is a good story and I didn't get bored or lose interest in it over the 2 hours. That is saying something these days.
