There's Kaz whose Talent for getting lost transports them across the world in moments, and Australia who can look SO ugly when she wakes up. Throw in Bastille's totally stern mother, and another bunch of evil librarians hell-bent on taking over the world and well, you have Book II

Brandon Sanderson fans BEWARE: this is finest YA over-the-top sarcasm at its best. Completely different to anything else Sanderson has ever written (not that he has a 'style' as such any way), Alcatraz is slapstick, off the wall humour and perfect for children and adults alike.
So long as you don't mind things a little left of centre....

Alcatraz's wondering monologues; his ability to think not so much outside the box as never-even-heard-of-the-box-(-what's-a-box-anyway-?-).
