This is another new edition of Midsomer Murders, featuring Neil Dudgeon as John Barnaby and Jason Hughes as Sgt. Ben Jones.

I like the new pairing more and more as we get to know John Barnaby's wife, Sarah, his dog, Sykes, and the new Forensic Coroner, Kate.

There is a different sort of humor in the somewhat irritable dynamic between Barnaby and Jones as they continue to solve gruesome murders in the quaint villages of Midsomer.

A lot of the cast from Downton Abbey is featured in these murder mysteries. Each one is a stand alone drama. We enjoy them a lot.

I especially like the theme music. It puts me in the mood for a great show with a lot of humor!

Sykes the dog. He has to go to a minder for an interview, which is hilarious!

I love this show. It may end up being one of my favorite all time shows. After I watch it to the end of what is now on Netflix, I will start all over again - it has been on TV for almost 20 years now.
