This is a British Series we have come to know and love. It is on Netflix Streaming.

Christopher Foyle (played by Michael Kitchen) is a high ranking detective in Hastings, on the coast of England, during World War II. The war rages and many things happen towards the war effort along the coast, but crime does not stop. Mr. Foyle solves murders in a low key way. Honeysuckle Weeks plays his driver, Samantha Stewart and Anthony Howell is Sgt. Millner, his able assistant, who was grieviously wounded in the War.

The settings are beautiful and the mysteries are complicated, with lots of red herrings and deductions.

anyone who enjoys a good, complicated mystery.

Michael Kitchen as Foyle and Honeysuckle Weeks as Sam. Their scenes together are wonderful.

it is a great mystery, adventure series with a different sort of lead Detective. He is very quiet and low-key and often looks like he has a toothache. Quite a character!
