Summary of this Book...
This book is the last one that I hadn't read or tried to read in the Inspector Lynley Mystery series. This one was a good one. A woman mysteriously leaves her home for London. She leaves behind her car and a lot of her possessions with her live-in boyfriend. He does not have any good explanations as to why she left. She ends up murdered in London and it is up to New Scotland Yard (Havers/Lynley et. al) to figure it all out.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who enjoys a good mystery with a lot of action at the end. This one had it.
I especially liked... | ||
the fact that Havers figures so prominently in the book. I also liked how they incorporated the toddler murder from so long ago. That was a chilling aspect of this book.
I didn't like... | ||
Lynley and Isabelle. I didn't feel like it fit his personality.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
read the new one when it comes out in the Fall. I hope it is as good as this one.
This Book made me feel...
like I had experienced a good mystery with a lot of twists and turns, and unforgettable characters.
The author of this Book...
knows how to tell a story. A handful of her books were rubbish, but most were really good, bordering on great. This book was one of the best in the series.
