Hungry! All the food is so deliciously photographed. Sometimes you can make a dish and it looks nothing like the photo in the book, but I usually find that when I make Nigella recipes, they look pretty darn close to her photos.

has a real way with words, something you'll know if you've ever watched her on television. She's a writer, not a chef, which is why ordinary people can recreate her recipes. She describes food with such passion, using such descriptive words as 'velvety savoriness' and 'voluptuously smooth'. Her cookbooks are a lesson in writing as much as they are a lesson in food! I get pleasure just reading them.
