I am a 56 year old (unemployed) tug boat captain. I have been an avid reader since childhood and enjoy most types of writing. I learned to enjoy reading through my mother who was both a published author and a college level english and writing teacher. I was born and raised in the Washington D.C. area. I have tried writing before but not done anything in a long while, since I find myself with so much time on my hands lately I thought I would give it another go.
