The first time I read "See Spot run.See Dick and Jane play", I thought to my 7-year-old self, I can write better than that. Which led me to put words on paper, and now screen, for 63 years. I will keep doing it for as long as I can still hold a pencil or tap a key. I love language and libraries. I read 7-10 books monthly, fiction and non-fiction, and have done so for more than 40 years. I will read anything by Stephen King and Joyce Carol Oates. I also enjoy reading, and writing, slice-of-life and coming-of-age stories and novels. I also write poetry, essays, and magazine articles for both print and online sites.
