Over the past few years, writing has become a favorite artistic outlet for me. I started off writing fanfiction, and a few years later, in 2006, I took part in NaNoWriMo, writing an original novel for the first time (I won the contest, but the story remains unfinished). I also took part in NaNo in 2007, and plan on doing so this year, also. I jumped the gun and started my story early this year, and 2000+ words into it, it's already my favorite thing I've written.
