I was drawn to the written word from a very young age. Storybook in hand, I would seek out any grownup, with the intention of convincing him or her to read me a story. Eventually I learned to read for myself and could lose myself in a world created by another mind. Being a naturally shy and introverted person, reading, and later writing, became my preferred means of communicating with other people. I have not completed the conversation by reciprocating with the outside world. My 'written' work remains as a soliloquy inside my head. This Bio Block is the beginning of what I hope to be a 2-way 'conversation' with the world.
