Here are my credentials (or lack of): '50 Shades of Awkward' is my crowning literary glory: two short stories published in an anthology of sordid tales endorsed by porn star and B-list celebrity Ron Jeremy, and 'My (Slightly Unbearable) First Year of Teaching. 'Deep Thoughts for Shallow People' is a series inspired by interviews with everyday people. Starting with my close family and friends, I will interview a new person each week in growing concentric circles of connection. Why? To show that we’re all connected, that we all have stories to tell, and that every one of those stories is valuable.
