I am 58 years old, married and live in the Lake District of North West England, I live very near to some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet. I am married with two daughters, and I began writing poetry about five years ago, one of my first efforts is "Gone Fishing". I write about varied subjects, some light,some dark and some a bit shady! I have had no formal training in writing since I left school aged 17. I find it very therapeutic to write, as I still have a high pressured job, and I need to relax in the evenings.I have written upwards of eighty poems in the last few years, so far I have posted five here.
