I like solitude. I like people. I once heard Sharon Abadi, an Iraninan peace activist, say at a conference when asked what last two things she would tell and leave with her children if she had the opportunity. She said, "I would tell them to, remember your humanity, and also, to be brave". One of my favourite poems was writtem by Langston Hughes called Mother to Son -- so, too, I keep going. I keeping trying.
