Country living has become a reality for me as my husband and I have now retired. After 30 years of teaching school with a set schedule to follow, even on weekends, the freedom to do as I please has left me to explore and do many different things and enjoy life. As a Type II Diabetic, health issues have disrupted my life causing me to contemplate life in general and appreciate many things never noticed before. My goal is to develop the writing skills I have as an educator and get my thoughts and ideas down for others to read and discuss. I look forward to writing and reading the works of others as part of my learning process.
