This poem was desecrated on a well-known Net provider's poetry board and after registering 3 complaints, they have yet to acknowledge my concerns. *Balloon3*

Those acts of disrespect are non-existant here,
for which I am
flag-waving proud to know.

Nothing's too big for my sacred Saviour.
He's anxious to give me all His favor.
Quick to bless beyond my most secret dream,
Lifting me up in His highest esteem.

When my own tragedies start to unfold,
I recall ... The Greatest Story ere told.
The Hebrews in slav'ry ... four hundred years,
God saw their anguish and shed His own tears.

What happened there's been told ... many a time,
Moses was chosen in spite of his crime.
He Received the Rod and trusted his speech,
God as his mouthpiece, he's able to teach.

Plagues consumed the land... tested by His Might,
Constant and grievous all day and all night.
Rameses' hardened so "I AM" might show
All nations that pharoah WILL let them go.

The Death Angel came for Egypt's first male,
They saw that His Power could never fail.
By marking door posts with lamb's blood that night,
Horror passed over ... their firstborn in sight.

He parted the Red Sea with Moses' rod,
Glory! Nothing's impossible for God!
Whatever's your problem ... know in your heart,
He's true to bless when you've managed your part.

Bread in the heavens, the manna came down,
Gathered each morning it lay on the ground.
Imagine the flavor; fell from His hand,
No need of butter for the taste was G R A N D!

They ate well; every man, woman and child,
For the evening meal, flew quail in the wild.
Abundance was supplied, all would suffice,
God provided ... to obey was the price.

Pillars of cloud and fire would guide them through,
God commanded Moses what he must do.
The children of God were grieved and complained!
Their lust, impatience and desire made plain!

We, like the Hebrews of Old Torah days,
Have surely learned His ways are not our ways.
Need reminding now who has The Power,
To change your whole life within the hour.

Glory, The Exalted One I so love,
Keep my focus clear and heart on above.
He's the Teacher and Lover of my soul,
Watching me close; living His divine role.
