A warriors spirit
oh so powerful and strong
but still so gentle and warm

So sly and cunning
but hides its true identity
as naive innocence

Harmless innocence
fools all by hiding
hiding its brutality and ruthlessness

your silver hair,
your golden eyes,
cold outer shell.
why so cold?
your sly and cunning
but why?
why hide?
there’s no need to hide
you weak
why act tough?
your eyes betray you
they reveal the truth
they melt away the ice inside your soul
why hide?
why not let your betraying eyes dissolve the exterior, the shell
don't be afraid
i'll catch you if you fall
don't betray you entity
your self

they say he's cold
i don't agree
his eye's are so warm
he may act cold
but the eyes never lie
reflecting pools are eye's
they reflect the truth of the soul
society smirks and laughs
but they never took the time to know him
then judged without reason
never took the time to care to know if they were right
dismissed the facts with hate
no idea why they hate
they just do
never realized his cold exterior was cased by them and their actions
but oh well
now its to late
golden eyes is gone and never to return
silver glimmer fills my hateful eyes
now a flicker is gone
another candle has been smothered by society
such a common sight
no one really cares or notices
but this time was different it was personal
a candle close to my emptyness
the only light in the vast space inside my shell
was put out
and once again solitude is my path
