Flower Shop Revelation

Walking by a flower shop one day,
My eye caught a beautiful rose.
A scarlet rose it was, with no defects.

Its thorns so perfectly curved
So gorgeously dressed in petals of red.
Standing proudly in the light.

Into deep thoughts I fell
looking at this product of evolution
A product produced by the Mother of Nature.

As I stepped closer to this beautiful rose,
I saw it was not a real beautiful rose.
A fake, lifeless beautiful rose it was.

As I stood there thinking,
the thorns of the rose stabbed me deep.
I caught myself wondering,
"Who created such a real-looking rose?"
