After Effects

Bewildered, uncaring, unmotivated-
having plenty to do
but no energy to do it.

Who cares?

Numb, feeling strange-
not hurting, but not "right"
Nobody here really understands,
they just know that I'm feeling "better"

What's "better"?

The pain is not as difficult to bear now,
not over powering-
just continual.
A dull throb-
Making it hard to think;
Difficult to keep
my mind...
