A country church at sunset
nestled in the hills of home;
A silent sentinel of peace,
as man and God meet, alone.

As I walked past, I noticed,
in the glory of the day -
a path well worn by travelers
who had stopped along the way.

The solitude lends comfort
to those who go within;
asking for a new direction,
no matter where they've been.

It's built with love and promise
by hands that you will see
are guided by the hands of Jesus
who gave His life for you and me.
