Technical Difficulties

Written for "Invalid Item"  as I waited for Writing.com’s server to come back up Wednesday night. Well, actually...I’m still waiting. But, maybe you’ll get a laugh out of it.

The problem was fixed. I was able to post.
First place was won, I can't help but boast.

Technical Difficulties

As I sat here waiting to log on to the site,
I remembered this image and decided to write.

Not all things are black and white.
You have no idea, how I miss this site!

The design in this image, a mirror reflection ~
Of my nerves right now, as I turn my attention.

The chaos and headache that has conspired ~
Is merely the gist, of not being inspired.

I need the lines straight, as well as the colors.
It can’t be just me! I’m sure there are others.

The image, right now, speaks Writing.com.
Something is jumbled, but I need to log on!

I see the time ticking, away as I write.
I search again, and still, there’s no site.

I think about Nance, Vince and Wendy.
And what about George, Michael and Dani?

What about scroll, bots and games?
Without them all, it’s just not the same.
