The sky and the land appear to meet,
But they never do.
I did not mean to cheat,
But had to.
However I didn’t realize it then,
That we were meant to be.
When you confessed, I thought it was a slip of the pen,
But how wrong it proved to me!
Had I been aware of the love,
That grew between us day by day,
Your value in my life would have been more than the Lord above.
But nothing can be done now for you are miles away.
You are unaware of the cries of my heart,
Days are crawling by,
Why have we been separated apart?
